Cedar Park

We remodeled a whole kitchen in a Cedar Park subdivision in four weeks, with white oak cabinets stained to read as walnut. The 2000s neighborhoods here are full of the builder-grade homes we turn into something that feels custom.

Leander

One whole-home remodel in a Leander neighborhood turned into three: the first client sent us the other two. The older pockets of Leander are exactly the work we do.

Austin

In Old Enfield we opened a closed kitchen, sized a header for a new window, and built a walnut range wall. Houzz ran it as Kitchen of the Week. We remodel Austin’s older, character homes as well as the newer suburbs around them.

Lakeway

A Lakeway kitchen: white oak cabinets, the countertop run up the wall as the backsplash, the layout kept and the appliances retained. Straightforward, well-built work.

Avery Ranch

A master-planned community built out in the 2000s. The homes are newer, but the finishes have aged, which is exactly the builder-grade-to-custom work we do.

Round Rock

Established subdivisions north of Austin, many of them now old enough for a serious update.

Jarrell

Home. We are based here, up I-35 north of Georgetown, which keeps us close to the whole corridor.

Pflugerville

Subdivisions from the nineties and 2000s north of Austin off 130 and 45, right in the years when a house needs its first real remodel. Builder-grade kitchens and baths are what we take apart and put back the way you actually want them.

Hutto

Newer subdivisions east of Round Rock along 79, and the farthest east we have worked so far. The first houses out here are just reaching the age where the original finishes give out.

Taylor

An old railroad town east of Round Rock, with houses that go back a century and a Samsung plant now pulling new people in. Old houses keep surprises behind the walls, and we would rather tell you about them at the bid than halfway through.

Manor

Newer subdivisions east of Austin along 290, the first of them now old enough for the builder finishes to be showing their age. The kitchen is usually where it starts.

Lago Vista

Hillside houses on the north shore of Lake Travis out 1431, many of them built as weekend places and lived in year-round now. Turning a lake house into a full-time home is a whole-house job, and we bring the designer with us.

Jonestown

A small lake town on 1431 between Cedar Park and Lago Vista, with older houses on sloped lots above the water. On a sloped lot every change is a structural question before it is anything else, which is where Martin starts anyway.

Oak Hill

Southwest Austin around the Y at 290 and 71, with hill-country lots and houses from the seventies through the nineties, a lot of them closed off room by room. Taking a wall out is a header, a beam and an engineer, and we have done all three.

Georgetown

Older homes and a historic square, at a higher price point. The kind of careful remodel Georgetown calls for is work we like.

Sun City Texas

Georgetown's 55-and-over community, where the earliest houses are now about thirty years old and the original kitchens and baths show it. Walk-in showers and a kitchen that works for the next twenty years: the remodels here are about staying put, and we build them that way.

Florence

A small town on 195, a short drive west of Jarrell, with older houses on land. Close enough to home that Martin can be there every day.

Salado

A historic village a few minutes up I-35 from us, with older houses on big lots and owners who came here to stay. A house you intend to keep for good is worth remodeling in the right order, and that is how Martin builds.

Liberty Hill

Newer homes on the northwest edge of the area, out toward 29.

North Austin

Houses from the seventies and eighties up around Jollyville and Great Hills, including a 1983 house we remodeled on Rain Creek. Floor plans from that era were drawn for a different way of living, and opening them up is work we know.

South Austin

Our first job was a bathroom off South Congress, and we have renovated several houses since down toward William Cannon and Slaughter. Ranch houses from the sixties and seventies, mostly, with more room in them than the floor plan lets on.

East Austin

Bungalows and small mid-century houses east of I-35, most of them older than anything in the suburbs, and a lot of them getting their first real update since they were built. City of Austin permits are the part people dread; Martin pulls them and meets the inspector himself.

Manchaca

South of the city on 1626, where older houses sit on bigger lots than anything in town. Bigger lots put additions on the table, and we do those, along with the structural work that ties a new room into an old house.

West Lake Hills

Older custom houses on the hills west of downtown, on lots where moving a wall is a structural question before it is a design one. We bring a designer we have built with, or build to yours, and coordinate the engineer either way.
